Do the stats look different in outdoor NHL games?

I wrote an article today for Deadspin where I asked the question, do the stats in outdoor and indoor NHL games look different from each other. When you compare all games, there’s some differences in the number of shots, faceoffs, and penalties. But once you account for the teams playing in the outdoor games, the only differences that are left are in the number of faceoffs and number of shots on goal.
